Opportunities instead of failures

Are you a person who always sees your mistakes instead of what you have accomplished?

This is a very commen problem and I have problems with it sometimes as well. It is easy to compare what you do to others. It kind of gets to us by media all the time; how you should act, how you should dress, how you should look and so on.

Media survives on us being insecure and want to shape us all in the same form. The power of media decide what we should do, what we should think, who we should feel sorry about etc. If you go against the mainstream you are being weird and a bit crazy, all according to media. This is very sad. Do we at all have our own believes? How does the sourroundings affect us?

What I am trying to say is this: Media are owned by rich companies that are all about profits. Don’t forget that. They will write whatever makes them more money. It is noMedia coincidence they choose to write about sadness, illness, diseases, war etc. It all has to do with money. It all has to do with who their sponsors are. Don’t forget that. And certainly don’t feel sad about that. Listen to yourself. Listen to what you want. To many of my friends care about what the rest of my friends think. First of all think about you and your believes. What do you care about and why? And don’t forget that you’ll be enlightened by people arguing against you. You will get new points of view and you will will develop your thinking.

Look at what you’re good at instead of what your mistakes are. Everyone makes mistakes. Think about what you’re good at, or what you want to learn. What does it take? Be you. And be unique. That’s why many of the so called “nerds” are doing much better than an average person. They know what they are good at and they’re following their instincts. They know why and what interest them.

So, what’s your opportunities?

That’s as easy as asking what you like to do. What do you like to do when you wake up? What’s your passion? What do you think about? What do you care about?

I’ll bet if you do, professionly, what you really like to do you will end up just fine. As long as you’ll see your assets instead of your problems you will do well.

When you think about your failures you should look at them as experiences. See them as a part of history that made you stronger. See them as a part of yourself that grew in the right direction. And only care about what you feel is right.

The point is this: You will never make it anywhere if you don’t take chances. Life is about living out what you dream of. Most people are conservative and don’t take risks. They are afraid of what they might lose. Instead you should look at what you might gain. Repeat this and you will succeed sooner or later. It’s all psychological, as long as you have the right set of mind you will go far. You will get nowhere if you don’t try. If you don’t take chances.

The key to success is to continue even though you have failed many times. You will learn through your mistakes. You might fail 20 times and make something you’re proud of the 21:st. Don’t give up! That’s the number one mistake people make. Or maybe listening to other peoples mistakes. They are underestimationg their on abilities.
